I had the opportunity of personally meeting Rep. Kathy Lambert while visiting Washington State when Brad Goodspeed (WA. J.A.I.L.)sponsored us up to Washington for their August, 2000 JAIL BBQ and fundraiser. Rep. Lambert has indicated that she would like to see Washington State also join in the Social Security Number challenge of the Federal Government. Read her response below. Let's all write Rep. Kathy Lambert and encourage her and show our support, not only for Washington State, but also for our own respective states. - -Ron Branson- ld - ----- Original Message ----- From: Kathy Lambert To: jail4judges Sent: Sunday, January 14, 2001 1:18 PM Subject: RE: Fed. Federal Court To Determine Social Security Challenge Suit claims invasion of privacy State official wants to protect Social Security numbers By Charlie Cain / News Lansing Bureau Chief What's next * U.S. District Judge Robert Holmes Bell will schedule a hearing on Michigan's suit. * The state could lose about $1 billion annually from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for not following the new law. * Secretary of State Candice Miller predicts the state will prevail - -- or comply with the law before losing federal funds. LANSING -- Secretary of State Candice Miller Thursday sued the federal government to block a new law that would force Michigan to collect Social Security numbers from nearly 7 million motorists, which she calls a privacy invasion. "I feel very strongly that the role of government should be to protect your personal privacy, not to be invading (it). No wonder people are afraid and they talk about Big Brother watching them," Miller said shortly after a suit was filed on her behalf in U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids. At issue is a provision in federal law that took effect Oct. 1, requiring states to gather Social Security numbers from applicants seeking or renewing driver's licenses. It's a little-noted portion of the 1997 welfare reform act, designed to help recover overdue child support from deadbeat parents. Miller said Michigan already does better than most states in collecting support payments. And she feels that creating another database with Social Security numbers could add to the growing crime of identify theft. Pam Carter, a Washington spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, said she couldn't comment in detail on the suit beyond noting that Michigan is the only state not complying. An exemption request was rejected twice. Michigan faces the potential loss of about $1 billion annually for disobedience, though no federal grants would not be withheld while the case is pending. If she loses in court, Miller said, she'd comply to avoid the financial loss. No hearing date has been set. Michigan's suit argues the exemption should be granted because the law violates the U.S. and state constitutional guarantees against invasion of privacy; represents an unfunded federal mandate; and violates the 10th Amendment by requiring a state to administer a federal regulatory program. Miller said the IRS already maintains Social Security numbers and would be the ideal agency to concern itself with collecting support payments. * You can reach Charlie Cain at (517) 371-3660 or ccain@detnews.com. "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." Revelation 13:16,18. It is anticipated that a small computer chip the size of a grain of rice will be forced to be implanted into every person at the penalty of death. That a world-wide internet type trade will be the only way of buying and selling by passing one's computer chip under a sensor, and while it will prosper business, it is necessary to accept worship of demonic influence in order to participate therein. "If any man ... receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured our without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the hold angels..." Rev. 14: 9, 10. Can anyone question that the SSN is the forerunner of this universal numbering system to be set up by the government? This numbering system will only come about by the endorsement of the judicial system, which will be its impetus. Sponsored by the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny, or BOND, crowd members at the Los Angeles event held signs reading, "Don't hate, repudiate," "Jesse Jackson is a racist" and "Audit Jackson." Former Reform Party vice-presidential nominee Ezola Foster was again a featured speaker, as were many of last year's participants. Joining the list of speakers this year was Barbara Coe of the California Coalition for Immigration Reform. BOND founder Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson organized the event in keeping with his pledge to "hold this event every year until Jesse Jackson repents of his ways and stops attempting to tear the races apart for his own personal gain." Jackson's office is housed in the same prestigious office building as EMI Records, and security was present during the two-hour event, held from noon to 2 p.m. "Today was a good day," Peterson told WorldNetDaily just 90 minutes after the protest had concluded. "We had a little over a hundred people there and speakers from across the country. It was much improved from last year. There are more American people getting involved. People from outside Los Angeles came." Both blacks and whites protested outside Jackson's office. "We had more black Americans there than we did last year," Peterson noted. "They have been told a lie now for 40 years, and now they're hearing the truth." BOND's founder believes "people are seeing Jesse Jackson running around like a madman, angry about losing the election," and are concerned about Jackson's "fear of losing power." "We're going to do it every year until Jesse Jackson repents," he stressed. Asked for response to the event, a spokeswoman for Jackson said she would consult with him and get back to WorldNetDaily. Peterson outlines the reasons for his disapproval of Jackson and other "self-appointed" civil rights leaders, as he refers to them, in his book, "From Rage to Responsibility." In it, Peterson says black Americans are being held captive by a message of anger promoted by Jackson and others. - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Julie Foster is a staff reporter for WorldNetDaily.com. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=21355 Archibald Bard Pro Libertate - For Freedom ICQ 83834746 Keep And Bear Arms http://www.keepandbeararms.com INFOWARS.com, a Presentation of the Energetic Alex Jones http://www.infowars.com/index.html In the immortal words of Yeshua the Messiah (most call Him Jesus) "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly." - -- St. John 10:10. (I was the alleged victim; I filed no complaint, but prosecution took place against my wishes anyway.) There have been a series of injustices, too numerous to list here, that have worsened his emotional state. I have only had custody of this child three years; he was removed from family of origin, by *Children's Protective Services,* November, 1997. His psychiatrist has recommended that he be placed in a Residential Treatment Center. Probation dictators tell me that I must have an attorney draw up an *Agreed Court Order* for this to take place. I have no attorney and no money as I am unable to work in the usual workforce due to supervising this child. I know the probation department could draw up paperwork in order to do what is in this child's best interest, but they seem to prefer to create criminals. When this child was incarcerated, we were denied legal assistance, and hewas locked up in Dallas County Juvenile Detention for three weeks with no meds. I tried to get him to a hospital, fighting their lawless system. He became suicidal and has a self-inflicted bite wound scar. (Self-inflicted bite wound is documented in his subsequent release paperwork from Timberlawn Mental Health Hospital.) This was all against the Texas Family Code, but I have been unable to find an attorney interested in pursuing the civil rights issues. I really need an attorney to assist with getting this child in Juliette Fowler RTC. They are prepared to accept him and are working with me, as is his psychiatrist. I also need an attorney who will pursue the civil rights violations perpetrated by these lawless dictators. This child has been in Special Education in the government schools, listed as *emotionally disturbed,* since third grade, while still with family of origin. Therefore, he has a history that qualifies him under Americans with Disabilities Act and any other disability laws. Another option would be for someone to assist or direct me in preparing the *Agreed Court Order.* Thank you, Connie M., Friend occupied Texas city of Irving [------------------------- end of forwarded message ------------------------] - -- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- RKBA! ***** Blessings On Thee, Oh Israel! ***** RKBA! - ----------------+----------+--------------------------+--------------------- An _EFFECTIVE_ | Insured | All matter is vibration. | Let he who hath no weapon in every | by COLT; | -- Max Plank | weapon sell his hand = Freedom | DIAL | In the beginning was the | garment and buy a on every side! | 1911-A1. | word. -- The Bible | sword.--Jesus Christ - ----------------+----------+--------------------------+--------------------- Constitutional Government is dead, LONG LIVE THE CONSTITUTION!!!!! - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 Jan 01 23:18:20 PST From: roc@xpresso.seaslug.org (Bill Vance) Subject: more votes needed MOST HATEFUL WOMAN IN AMERICA TODAY POLL (fwd) On Jan 17, Carl William Spitzer wrote: [-------------------- text of forwarded message follows --------------------] In your opinion, which of the following is the most hateful woman in America today.
