Buy anything that says Eric Dolphy on the cover. Seriously. Particular standouts include the already cited Five Spot discs, his work with Coltrane (Africa Brass, various live gigs), and his work with Mingus. Check out Charles Mingus Presents Charles Mingus, Mingus @ Antibes and anything you can find from Mingus' 1964 European tour (most of the gigs exist on CD/LP, though not all them are easy to find.)
