The release of the KLF LP "The White Room" is a neat segue from their number one gold single "3AM Eternal" into another dimension of sound which are songs written and recorded at various times and places between 1987 and 1991. These will form part of the soundtrack for the KLF feature motion picture "The White Room". The film itself is far from finished; the KLF shot the core of the film with the profits made from 'that other number one single' and now are a mere million pounds or so short of completion (potential investors take note). All of the nine tracks were written, produced, performed and programmed by the KLF and the sleeve notes contain copious amounts of information crediting every additional sound, sample and performance. There will be a new single released on 8 April, a radical re-recording of "The Last Train to Trancentral" which will be unrecognisable as the LP track of the same name. It is a rockin' rave track which completes the "Stadium Housse Trilogy" after the top fiver "What Time..." and "3AM...". Of particular note is the set that the KLF are building for their video of "Last Train to Trancentral" which will be animated and cut together with performance footage. The set is "The Land of Mu" and is a miniaturised (if you call 38 feet by fifteen feet miniature) scale model of that mystical land where the Justified Ancients roam. Television and radio guided tours are possible by arrangement with Appearing. This is hot stuff, guaranteed. "This is what the KLF are about. Also known as the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, further known as the JAMS, once known as the Lords of Time, and now some say the Kings of the Low Frequencies...."
