IT BOUNCED. each time one of his cheques bounced, it cost me 20 UKP/35 USD in bank charges. so, these have put me 40 UKP/70 USD out of pocket. that doesn't include what i spent on the records/cd. however, i can at least try to sell those via the list, and get that money back at least. (see below) i have been INCREDIBLY patient with him, but have now given up. six months is a LONG time. he's now making out that he sent me cash over two weeks ago, but i know he's just feeding me a line. he is a liar and a cheat, and this has really made me think twice about getting stuff for people, and trusting them to sort it all out at a later date. that makes this relevant for a LOT of people on this list. if he has the nerve to try and defend himself, i will put up on the web ALL the emails between us since the start of this year, and people can see just what i have had to put up with. anyway, here's the stuff that i would like to sell on. the prices are exactly what i paid for them - i am making no profit. far from it. :-< if you want any/all of it, drop me a line personally. prices EXCLUDE postage and packing, and are in UKP sterling. my apologies for taking up space like this, but i thought this had to be said... anyway, here they are: System 7 'Miracle' promo 12" w/full length orb remix 6 UKP System 7 'Miracle' cd single w/shorter orb remix 5 UKP Fortran 5 'Groove' 12" w/orb remix 6 UKP Zoe 'Sunshine On A Rainy Day' CD5 w/Moonsister orb mix 6 UKP System 7 'Sunburst' 12" (SYS 7) mispress 6 UKP Rick Wright promo 12" w/TWO orb remixes (not released) 6 UKP Orb 'Asylum' 1-track promo cd 6 UKP i MAY already have a taker for the Zoe cd single, but nothing definate, so if you want it... i hope everyone has a good weekend, except Peter of course. i'm going home to kick the cat. - -- not very Smiley at all # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info orb" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email orb@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 22 Aug 1998 15:40:39 -0500 From: stranger@midsouth.rr.com Subject: Re: (orb) WARNING! + records/cds for sale... It cost me $15 for the returned check, plus I held items for him for another month while he kept saying the money was on the way. Never received anything. This guy is definitely a loser, and I second the notion that people should -not- deal with him. The info I have on him is as follows: Stormsonic@aol.com Peter A. Herron / Colbert Brown III And he gave me two different addresses at two different times, 1940 Lake Atrium Circle No. 97, and 1924 Lake Atrium Circle No. 54, both in Orlando, FL 32839 - -todd # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info orb" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email orb@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 21 Aug 1998 14:07:36 -0700 From: Steve Shah Subject: Re: (orb) WARNING! + records/cds for sale...
