One is if you have a simple output on your sound card and put them through to your home stereo and then back on to the hard drive as a .wav and then ultimately as a MP3. This method however probably produces major signal loss, unless you are using a Mini disc recorder or some type of DAT digital recording. Another way is if you have two sound cards or a card that you can successfully buffer on, that is, save it directly as it is playing and then transfer it to a wav and then into a MP3. I have taken RA files and put them to a CD, I used sound forge to remaster them and get some signal back.
