I'll try to make this brief. While I was music shopping in Kansas City about a month ago, I was in a store that had a ton of those "rock art" prints. I was quite thrilled when I picked up an Orb one for $15. It's about 12"x23", and says "ORB" in gold lettering on the top and "APRIL 23, 1997 AUSTIN MUSIC HALL" on the bottom. The background is a gold, teal and purple spiral bubbly pattern. It's supposedly a signed, numbered print (23/110) by the artist, Lyman Hardy III. Anybody ever see this or heard of the artist? Anyone willing to make me a ridiculous offer that I can't refuse? I also now have access to a CD-R and am very willing to trade. E-mail me for a have/want list. Among my have list is that Orb bootleg with Kiss Your Love, etc. which I announced once and my trade fell through (along with Orbscure, which I'm also willing to part with). Can't wait to get my hands on that video. Have a good week. More accurately, I don't think they care. It isn't tagged with the "Parental Advisory" and probably the only people who'll see the cover are the staff folk who actually put it on the shelf. The staff will proably find it amusing and end up forgetting about it. - -Steve - -- ______________________________________________________________________________ Steve Shah (sshah@cs.ucr.edu) | SysAdmin/Coder/Gabbernaut/DJ/Writer/Minister http://www.cs.ucr.edu/~sshah | We're not dropping out, we're infiltrating. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beating code into submission, one operating system at a time... # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info orb" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email orb@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Sep 1998 20:17:28 -0500 From: Laura Hauser Subject: Re: (orb) u.f.off page/micky mars/etc. > > Also, on Peel Sessions 2, the song "No Fun" alters the flow. > > Oh but I love that track sooooo much.
