Well, it's a free streaming MP3 server -- similar to realaudio except it streams virtually any format including live inputs (line-in) Through Winamp. This is cool! Here's how you can tune in: Open Winamp, press CTRL+L to play a location, then type this in: http://216.160.64.247:2323 You need to have at least a 33.6 connection, and I have my server setup to only allow 15 simultaneous connections. Your Winamp will contact my PC and start playing the Orb audio stream. I would like to know how it sounds on different speed connections, so if you could tune in and let me know privately that would be cool. I'm afraid it might be coming through too choppy, etc, but I have no way to test. The playlist is basically 180 random ordered tracks from the OAA. Since there's been several people ask about uploading files to the OAA, here's how you do it: First, you can't do it through your web browser, so if that's the only way you're accessing the OAA now, you'll have to get an FTP client like WS_FTP or Cute FTP -- goto shareware.com or www.ipswitch.com to find an FTP client. Connect to the OAA Change to the /incoming folder (only this folder has "write" access enabled) Make a folder for your stuff Change to your folder Copy it in It would be nice if you let me know after your done so I can move it to a permanent location after you've uploaded it. Speaking of uploading -- there's ONE thing I want REALLY bad -- it's the "Chillout Megamix" I'll burn a 2CD set of the entire OAA for the first person to upload a CLEAN mp3 of this to the OAA. Up and Coming: I'm gonna add the two Pink Floyd Trance remixes I have in the next week or so (Atom Heart Mother and Wish You Were Here).
