Some how I doubt that. I think the Orb are creative enough to have come up with the Blue Room riff on their own, don't you? I mean, why else would I be a fan? :-) I am willing to bet that the people at Atlantic had no idea, that the Orb got ripped off, and that B-Tribe is lookin' at a lawsuit. This European issue is the remixed version of the original material that came out in March 1999 via Biosphere Records in Japan. It includes a sort of re-remix-crossfade edited by Alex "The Orb" Paterson. This work is supported by The Edge from U2 and Alex Paterson who both like these tracks so much that they have agreed to their comments being printed on the front cover sticker. I am proud that the album begins its way to the audience like this, and I hope the listeners, HAVE FUN WITH IT! - Hans-Joachim Roedelius Over his thirty year career, Roedelius has earned himself a reputation as something of a "work-a-holic", releasing in excess of 30 solo albums, the most notable being his "Selbstportrait" series of ambient instrumentals. In recent years, Roedelius has channelled all of his energies in to his collaborations for theatre, dance and film. 1998 saw the release of "Aquarello" on Eno's All Saints Records. Mostly instrumental compositions with Nicola Alesini and Fabio Capanni, "Aquarello" was recorded in Roedelius's home studio in Austria and live at the Lanzarote Music Festival. His new album "Drive" out now on Rykodisc (RCD 10480) is possibly his most contemporary release to date and features an exclusive "re-remix" by Alex Paterson of The Orb. Roedelius has just returned from Japan where he played a string of sold out concerts. The summer of '99 will see him returning to the live arena when he will tour America as support to Roger Eno and Lol Hammond (ex-Drum Club).
