A conversion shouldn't coust too much, but It all depends on the length of the material. If you can't find either of these, then you should take it to a Video Post Production Facility. But that might cost you a bit more. But usually you can find it, places like the video duplication shop are quite common. Peeople always want to get copies or Conversions of thier Wedding Video's or Thier Kid's first steps or other such precious moments. If you your in the Chicagoland area I know of a few places there that do such work. I was watching TV last night, and a Hyundai commercial came on. It shows a band playing on a stage, when suddenly a Hyundai comes up on the stage, then sort of does a 'stage dive' and is supported by the crowd. The really bizarre part is that the band playing onstage is MEAT BEAT MANIFESTO. Unfortunately you don't really get to see Jack, but the song they're playing is that one off their latest (I can't remember the name at the moment). There is no "whole CD" of this material unfortunately, at least not a released one. Another version of "Borrowed Love" (the name I use in the KLF & Orb discogs for the "Alex vs. The KLF" track, just to keep everything straight) is on the Eternity: Project One album, and there's another stray KLF/Orbish track called "Brooklyn, New York" that dates to roughly the same period, but that's about it. On the other hand, you might want to just track down "Project One". If so, the session was broadcast on Kiss FM in London on New Years Eve sometime in the early nineties. I recorded it from the radio on the night and have listened to it pretty consistently over the years since. From what I can tell, The Orb played about three records, then Coldcut played about three records and this went on for a couple of hours. Coldcut played the likes of Major Force, Tackhead, Depth Charge and a bit of house. The Orb played a selection of fantastic house and techno tunes that were available at the time. As you can imagine, the Orbs sections are fairly distinctive since there is a cacophony of nonsense samples over the top, almost to the point of distraction - operatics, children's program sounds and the usual high jinx. Perfect! From time to time there would be a Kiss FM announcement saying that this broadcast was coming 'live and direct form the Holloway Road' - in North London. I think that this was also when Kiss FM was a pirate station which makes the whole damn thing even more exciting. I have tried getting a full CD of it with no real success, apart from a guy (from the Netherlands?) who may be prepared to trade - go to http:\\www.orbology.com to get details. Sorry if I am wrong and have sent everybody info that they weren't interested in or already knew. But this session is an absolute must for anyone into the Orb circa early nineties. As the Orb have already discovered, it is absolutely jam-packed with some awesome samples to drop into a mix. They have also used pieces of this album in their mix of the Reefer Song and in their Tangerine Dream remix.
