Perhaps we will get some new mixes of "Little Tim", "Reading Rainbow" (what did you play.....), kids books, etc, etc. B) A British friend, of a friend, tells me that hidden in a future Groovetech Radio show we will be able to hear an updated version of the unreleased Orb remix: silver machine (1992). I have no idea how reliable this information is, as he is meant to be an "unreliable chap" (lying bastard). It's an eBay auction, and I am accepting billpoint for the disc. Right now, at 12:20 AM central time on sunday morning, it's still $9.99. I have lots of CD's, but have recently found myself not listening to all of them, the jerk at the used CD store wanted to buy this CD for $4.00, so I told him that I paid an arm and a leg for it before, and I wanted more. When he expressed his interest in ska to me, I knew he wouldn't understand, so I took my disc back home, and decided to sell it on eBay instead. It's in great condition, plays without a problem. Well, without further ado, here's the url: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1419175727 Happy bidding! Sweet! I picked up my tickets on Friday night. It has been a loooooong time since I have been to the show at the Gothic. I think the last show I saw there was Sonic Youth or "Check Your Head"-era Beasties Boys. I saw Ministry during the "Mind Is..." tour and I lost count how many times I have seen Pigface there (my favorite being when Silverfish opened). I spent a good part of my early twenties in that venue. It will be nice to see my favorite band in my favorite venue! See you all there. Chances are I will probably be wearing my Pork Recordings shirt that night. So keep an eye out for me, all of you.
