Roswell there among numerous tv shows. I haven't
checked them out thoroughly yet, but from what i read,
its pretty good.

OK Roswellians, because of a mistake in my weekly program recording, I
failed to record last night's episode. How could I have done such a stupid
thing? I forgot that NBC's show ED was moving to Wednesdays this week, so I
taped Dateline or something like that. So, I'll be reading any spoiler
e-mails on last night episode. Normally, I delete all e-mails that indicate
spoilerage in their "subject line" but not this week. So, send me your

Oh, so the next new episode isn't until Dec. 18th? That's cool, I have
plans this monday night (the 11th), and I'm an avid fan of both Ally McBeal
AND Roswell.... so I'm glad their xmas episodes aren't on the same night!!
And oh yeah, Boston Public is like my favorite show right now, overall, as
much as I love others like Roswell. I think anybody who likes Roswell would
love this show, if they can tolerate not having any of the characters be
from another galaxy.

hello all,
i watched the rerun of "skins and bones" , not my fave.... but when i
re-watch eppies,i always catch and understand things i didn't the first time
around.
OT: i read an article in the sunday paper about David Kelley and Boston
Public. they were critical about DK spreading himself too thin with so many
shows that he has going (ally mcbeal-). the same seems to be true with
Joss Whedon and BTVS and Angel.
hopefully Jason Katims does not fall into that. personally i have been
having a prob keeping up with the plots and characters on Roswell.
for instance... when JK introduces us to the guy that digs ups the bones of
Pierce and him and isabel seem to have an *interest* in the other.. then
this guy seems to *disappear*...(?) from the story line.
dec 18th seems a long time to wait for another NEW ep of Roswell, but as
long as they show reruns, hey! i am a happy camper .

Yep, I've been noticing other Roswell lists complaining about the
inconsistencies, and loose ends. I'm namely attribute it to the fact that
the writers probably didn't know exactly how many episodes would air this
year, trying to pull every trick in the book to get a larger audience. But I
do hope the latter half of the season help pull it back together a little
better.
They've taken a story path much different from the novels (as far as I've
read them), which may or may not have been a good thing. In the first
season, the antagonist was largely the government and anyone finding out the
truth about the podsters. Now it's shifted to a slightly cheesy 'Royal
Aliens must save somebody's world.' In my opinion, they should continue to
take it a bit slow, and not allow this new plot displace the quality of the
of the interactions between the characters, and the underlying 'teen angst'
issues. It does seem, however, that they're ready for the characters to
become adult and move on with their lives to help serve the new plot.
Well, just some random thoughts. But I don't know if Katims is being spread
too thin. Is he working on any new projects? I would be interesting to know
what's going on behind the scenes.
By the way, noticed some interesting interviews (and videos) with the cast
on the WB's website recently, in case you all haven't checked it out yet.

That's great! Maybe my boyfriend and I will check it out and if we do I

Well, this was a very lovely episode, and a lovely departure from the last
few episodes (at least for me). These are the types of Roswell episodes that
I like to see, anyway. I also liked the issue of Max being able to heal
people brought up, and why he simply can't go about being a miracle worker.
I think it's also the type of episode that the actors play the best.
Seeing as there was no preview for next week, does that mean we have to wait
yet again?! :)

wonderful! just wonderful! i felt like i was finally watching the show i
fell in love with again. i mean, i actually like some of the new twists,
but please, we really needed this. our "main" characters were getting
further and further away from each other. last nite was great!!!!
-max & liz:
yay for the few moments they had. how the two of them - being as close as
they are - can't just look into each others eyes and faces and not "know"
certain things escapes me........it was so nice to see them share some time,
to see him take her hand at the end (and her not pull away), just to see
them being friends.
-tess & kyle:
ok, now, i never hated tess. i have always liked her, just not with max,
per se. but kyle and her are a trip together. i wish they would get more
screen time. i guess this is tess' first attempts to be more "human"
like...i really feel for this girl.......and seeing Jim act like he did when
he realized AMy was coming - oh, that was great!
-michael & Maria - okay, now these two used to be my favorite couple. i
loved the banter and interaction. but for quite a long time, i think
michael hasn't been much more than an abusive jerk, and i have to wonder why
maria would allow herself to be treated that way. and - um? are they
dating? or not? the scene with the present that Izzy left was so good.
-brody:
ok, so he likes maria? and HOW old is he exactly? but he is sweet, and
actually talks and listens to her (gee that is more than michael does....)
and the scenes with him and sydny were so sweet.
-i liked that michael had wished he could have helped save some kids. now -
i wonder - does he NOT have the ability to? we have never seen him heal
anything - even when he had a black eye, max had to fix it. so he can't do
it? or what?
-was it a real ghost. or just max's conscience? i think it was real......
-liz's line about him not playing god......hhhmmm, but how do we know that
god didn't have all those events play out so that max would heal those
children? have to think about that..........
well i need to go and re-watch...............
i cried the whole time practicaly.........especailly when he was healing
those kids, when he saw them as babies and toddlers.....
wonderful episode.

I totally agree. What a perfect episode! I loved every
minute!!
I felt so bad for Max when he was haunted by that
ghost and I was happy that he had Liz to turn to. They
are the perfect couple!!
The Michael/Maria scenes were good as usual and I
couldn't help thinking the same thing about Kyle and
Tess. (LOVE!!!) I think they would be cute together
and it would keep her away from Max. Sheriff Valenti
was hysterical last night. He had me laughing with
every line. The part when Kyle tells him all the
Buddhist stuff for the football game was a riot!!! And
he was so cute with Amy.
I loved when Michael said that he wished he could have
helped those kids too. That was so sweet. So was the
part with Michael/Isabel's present for Maria.
Two questions: Where was Alex? :( and where was Maria
during the dinner at the Valenti's?
The end really was perfect though, the whole
candlelight/midnight vigil and everything. My fav
scene of all is when Max takes Liz's hand and tells
here that he believes in her. That was adorable!!! To
paraphrase Maria from an earlier episode: "It's only a
matter of time before she caves." I think that is so
true, they are definitely going to get back together
because it is so obvious that they are still in love.

Agreed, although I realize some people feel it was a bit of a cheesy
Christmas episode, but I didn't mind so much. Heck, if it wasn't a cheesy
Christmas episode, I would have been a bit disappointed. :)
> Oh yeah, did anyone else notice Tess' Australian accent

I notice it slips out from time to time, but she probably does a better yank
accent than I could an Australian one. I do give her credit for the attempt
of the southern U.S. accent in Summer of '47, and the northern accent in the
Duplicates episodes, since the rest of the American cast didn't hit the mark
quite right on those.
I haven't heard any spoilers/synopsis for the next episode. Anyone else?

hello all!
after reading everyone's post about "the miracle", i have to say i agree
wholeheartedly this ep was a lovely episode.
just a few items here i want to address....
i hated tess from the beginning... my hate for her seem to lessen with each
ep. i think it is because the writers has *curtailed* her fascination with
max and made tess kind of *neutral* - or as we saw in monday nights ep-she
and kile seem to be developing * a freindship*.
another point.... for me i did not like the pressure that everyone was doing
to max to make him *accept God* by attending the service.
okay, i am really going to sound like the grinch here....
one more item i did not like, is that izzie and maria could not *accept* the
gift (the new fender for the jetta) as a true Xmas gift, after all the heck
that the pod squad (esp michael) put that poor car thru.
i thought that was a PERFECT gift!
okay, i will prob get an iron for Xmas, and hey (!) that is what i really
want.
i really luv this show, even tho it has had it's ups and downs (IMHO) this
season.
to steal something from another list....
curious to know what you guys think are the best five episodes of Roswell so
far?
merry christmas to all-much happiness and be safe!

And then on with my question :) Would anyone happen to have

Thanks.

The song is Dido's "Here With Me". If you go to the Roswell MP3 website you
can download the song. The lyrics are also there.
