Aside from the obvious teen sympathy, however, I find the sci-fi aspect of the show very intriguing. It goes into very esoteric grounds upon close inspection and brings up some rather alarming issues, not just about "aliens," but about ourS-elves, too. It will be very interesting to see how some of these issues will be resolved, if at all. I'd rather not discuss these issues, however, as they border on very controversial lines for most people, namely, religion and politics.
