It certainly is a divorce from the rest of the tempo of the season, and it looks as though next weeks episode will continue to be on the suspenseful side. I have one kvetch about the last two episodes: Max striking Michael, and the continuing physicality between the two in TL&V. I agree with Michael about not knowing who he was anymore. When Mike was with Hank, Maxwell (Maximillian?) was the closest of brothers anyone could have, offering shelter from the abusive situation Michael was in. Max hitting Michael only helped to reinforce his confusion and hinder his emotional development/healing, and it looks like the situation is going to get worse before it gets better. Okay, enough of that for a second. In watching some of the flash scenes in slow-mo, it appears that Tess may have in fact been a part of the 'Pod Squad' (as KayComp calls them ;-) from the beginning. If so, apparently she got separated somehow, or perhaps hatched at some other locale. But I do not believe that she is Nasedo. My *guess* is that Mr. Harding is also an alien -- perhaps even in Roswell looking for the rest of the Pod Squad, and is working for the military to help avoid suspicion, perhaps so to be on the up-and-up and feed the military misinformation about where the rest of the Pod Squad is. If I'm wrong, the only other logical assumption I can think of at the moment, is that they're being controlled by the military and have been planted to hunt down our gang. But I think this is what we're meant to believe... and this show has given us quite a few twists recently. Okay, enough of speculation now. As someone else mentioned, the gang WAS pretty obvious standing up in front of Tess' window. And that neighborhood and palm trees don't scream 'Roswell' -- more like So Cal. ;-) Anyway, what was the song played when Max was drawn to Tess in the classroom (right before he practically did her on the table)? I was reading the background article in Teen Magazine (I know, I'm embarrassed, but I had to get it b/c she was on the cover) and she wrote that the whole reason behind her spending a day as a vet was to conquer her fear of animals.
