It's always entertaining, but I've come to expect more from this show and these writers. But I do hope the 'dupes' don't stick around too long. (Meet the Dups) How can you people even compare "Meet the Dupes" to "Heat Wave"?! "Meet the Dupes" was so BAD, and "Heat Wave" was so GOOD!--it's my all-time favorite episode of any tv show every! 'Sides, lots of important stuff happened in "Heat Wave"--Liz told Alex about the aliens; Max and Liz finally kissed; Isabel found out that Alex was in love with her. So you can't even say that "Meet the Dupes" was like "Heat Wave." "Meet the Dupes" made absolutely no sense. Fake Michael and Fake Isabel killed Fake Max, and then they played with Real Max's head! I hate them! Plus, like everyone, I have to ask, "HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET TO NEW YORK?!" Cuz they crash-landed in New Mexico, and New York is on the other side of the country... But anyway, I felt kinda bad for Fake Tess. I like her more than Real Tess. I wonder what the hell she's gonna do in Roswell--die her hair blond and pretend to be Real Tess? My thoughts on why Xan didn't wanna go to the summit: hello! They're not the real Royal Four! The Roswellians are, and Xan knew it, but he didn't wanna tell Rath and piss him off. That's my theory anyways... Okay, I really, really hate Lani. I mean, what a bitch! The bonding with Isabel over the Volandra problem was nice at the beginning, but then she went and fucked up Max and Isabel's whole relationship just to get what she wanted. However, I did have to go "Right on!" when she called Max a "self-centered, self-indulgent little boy," because that is what he's been acting like all season. As a story-line, the episode blows, but it was rather amusing. My favorite part was when Liz did her little "winter-fresh" dance after Fake Michael kissed her. That was too good! Okay, one more thing--Brody and Maria? He seems a little old for her, but it's cute. At least he wouldn't be an ass to her like Michael is. But then again, when Rath offered to kill Brody, and Michael said he'd get back to him, it kinda showed that he does care about Maria. But who cares? I never liked Michael anyway. So that's it from this girl. Later days, Czechoslovakians. == ~Emily (but then you probably knew that...) "Some people are just pigs."~Liz Parker... Amen and Amen.  Where was the preview for next week?  Any takers?

There was no preview for next week.  =*(  I guess we were very lucky to have
the first 9 episodes straight without a repeat.  I don't know what repeats
they will be playing.  After investigating it, I'm quite sure the next
episode is 12/18/00 "A Roswell Christmas Carol."  Then 1/08/01, "To Serve and
Protect," and 1/22/01 "We Are Familly."  So were are going to have a wait,
and episodes split up, unfortunately.  I guess they couldn't give us a new
one every week.  I really can't believe there has been 9 episodes already!  I
really hope they don't take a month off like they did last year with all
reruns (not that I hate that!).

I agree with Jen:  "To me, his expression seemed more like a
sad-resignation-to-the-truth-that-he-must-accept-if-they're-going-to-be-friend

s."  It appeared that Liz did a very slight nod, and then the way she cried
after looked like she was sad she lied to him.  I am really hoping that Maria
spills the beans to Max.  She just might!

Brody was so cute: "I don't understand why they took me again"  Maria:
"Maybe your just special"  lol!

Where was Ava going to at the end?  I can't see her rejoining Lonnie/Rath.
It was cute to see her and Liz, talking about Zan and Max.  Emilie's accent
sounded more Austrialian (like she really is) to me than NY, I thought it was
cute anyway.  I also like that Liz is "changed," Max will be friends with her
(its a start), and that Liz saved Max's life.

I feel like I forgot something to mention... Maybe I'll just have to watch
the tape again!  ~Deb

I didn't get that actually, but I'm not sure what I DID get out of it. Part of me would like Max to stop obsessing about it, and I'm sure Liz would too. For their eventual (I'm convinced) reconciliation, there has to be a point in which Max decides that it ultimately doesn't matter if Liz did or did not sleep with Kyle. He had her on such an impossible pedestal, and now she's fallen. And sometimes that's necessary before a real relationship, one that knows each others faults and flaws, can begin. Yes, this is a huge betrayal for Max, and I feel for him as he struggles with it. But he has to stop whipping Liz over it, and I don't like the aspect of his character that continually tortures those who disappoint him--look how he treated Isabel last week. Anyway, I do like Max, most of the time, so please don't think I'm bashing him. I'm just being protective of Liz. Chantel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
