That reminds me of something similar, regarding how some men (usually men) can lie on a bed of nails and not be punctured multiple times. Apparently, the 'trick' is that the nails are so close together, that the individual's weight is properly distributed over them, so a single nail can't quite find it's way through the skin. Of course, I'm sure there's some build up of calluses, but it's not quite the extraordinary feat that they'd have you believe. I read the posts daily, but don't always get to respond. This has been a great list. I explored various Yahoo groups and found the Roswell International Club to be fairly active. I hope to read some of your posts in the future.
