And when I mean small, I mean smaller than 4 inches in diameter. Smaller books are lots of fun to make cause you can use all those smaller pieces of exotic papers that you get in grab bags. I used to think, "now what am I going to do with this?" Then I was the lucky recipient of ex fast posto's treasure book class and my mind started racing with ideas. Little pieces of fancy paper are great for covers, pages, etc. Also, in the latest Somerset, there is an article on mini folios. Those are really cool. Use ribbon, embellish, etc. Do anything as long as it's under 4 inches big. 6 for 5, shipping and details if it get's official. Let me know who wants to play. That splotchy effect can come in handy as a filler on a "too white" card. Also, try putting the pen in the little hole thingy at different heights. I'm not sure how to do postage for this one as some people may send big amounts compared to some send smaller amounts. Enjoyed all of it though I would argue with the concept of elegant for the first project! But that's just a case of different strokes for different folks. The Art Institute Glitter Video (believe this was the original and sorry, don't know the title. Excellent instruction though I wondered who could afford plastic containers with that much glitter in them! But I followed the techniques and they all worked and were well demonstrated. Dee Gruenig - sorry but this one drove me to distraction - enthusiasm is fine but overdone to the point of nausea for me - again - different strokes but I swear I will never ever watch another "Dee" video - don't be discouraged though - if you can take the enthusiasm there were certainly loads of techniques but after a time they seemed to me to be variations on a theme.
