Take it off line and email > privately. Actually, I hate to disagree, but even though the buyer and vendor seem to be arguing about a private matter, this was all started by someone who asked about this vendor. The buyer explained her experience (which was negative, unfortunately), which is what was asked for. The vendor then presented his/her side of the story, again publicly - because if they did not answer this allegation publicly, we would only see one side of the story. Now the buyer is presenting a rebuttal. Eventually an agreement will be reached between the two, either good for the buyer or not, and this exchange will tell us more about this vendor than any vague "they're great" or "they're not great" comment ever could. But they were well worth the wait! From Lisa Mallette, on pale green cardstock, a Shakespeare quote on vellum, back coloured in pink and embossed in white on the top half of the card, then a green ribbon across, then more vellum with the rose swag embossed in white and back coloured. The bottom of the card is cut out in a sort of wave. Very elegant. From Tami32CA, two apples embossed in gold on vellum and back coloured, then the edge is trimmed and the vellum is tied on the card with gold ribbon. The front edge of the card is also trimmed, so there are two wavy edges on the side of the card. In a clear envy with apple confetti - - I think this one is my favourite! From Ming Kwong, on pale purple cardstock (except it has different colours mixed in, I don't know how to explain it), hearts and swirls embossed in purple. Then in the middle a pice of white paper corrugated and with the edges trimmed, then a piece of pink mulberry paper, hand-torn, with 'This is my beloved, this is my friend' embossed in silver. Also very elegant. From Jepeka, the pansy trio embossed in white and back coloured on velum, with the edges trimmed and tied onto purple cardstock with very thin lavendar ribbon. Also some glitter wavey shapes on the vellum. Very nice. Finally, from Phan, very pale lavendar cloud cardstock, layered with lavendar paper with white dots, edges trimmed, with a piece of paler lavendar layered on that with the three tulips on it, and Thank You embossed in purple on the bottom. I really like the Thank You stamp! Thanks for a great swap! I went through all of my stamps, and have a bunch I would love to get rid of, and maybe you are in the same boat. What this entails, is that if you have stamps you want to get rid of, stamp the images in black ink on to a white piece of paper. Write on the paper near the stamp the price you are asking for the image. On the bottom of each sheet place your name snail mail address, and e mail address. Do not forget that it will cost you something to send your stamps out. You may want the buyer to pay these costs, or you may want to take care of that. It is something you will work out yourselves. I am asking $2-3 dollars for large wood mounted stamps, and lots less for unmounted. Mark wether the images are mounted or not. Mail the sheet to me by March 1st. I will make copies of the sheets and mail the booklets out to all those interested. Anyone is welcome to the book, they just need to email me, and sign up. The cost is $2.00, to cover copying fees, envelopes and mailing. this same cost applies to those sending sheets of images. Then we will have a set date, that you may begin inquiring about the stamps. That is the only fair way to let everyone have the equal opportunity at buying the images you want. So, if interested, e mail me, and let me know if you would be sending sheets of images, or just want a booklet. This is a great way to clean out your stamps, and then use the flea market sales to buy that new image you just have to have!
