Also, there seem to be quite a few Bungle studio demos out there, but they're so hard to get a hold of. i have what i believe is the first one, entitled "the raging wrath of the easter bunny." it's interesting; recorded in high school when they were pretty much a straight speed metal band. i think it would be worthwhile for people who have most or all of the demos to post a list of them with some description of the contents, so less fortunate souls (like me) can trade for copies and we can spread the good news of bungle. anyone who'd like to trade for a dub of my demo, just get in touch... 2) American label - I heard a rumor that zorn will is setting up an american label, re-releasing some of his old recordings and putting out some old stuff as well. will stuff on avant be re-released on this label? what's it called? when can we expect the first batch of releases? 3) the Boredoms - has anyone heard the boredoms' new album? i think it's called "chocolate synthesizer," and should be out in the u.s. mid-january, athough it's been avaliable in japan for some time. did zorn produce? i think their album "pop tatari" is masterful. eric eahatch@oyster.smcm.edu ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From rooster@vt.edu Sun Dec 11 16:25:09 1994 Subject: Masada I'm a trumpet player, who is particularly interested in John's new project- Masada. The line-up is incredible, and I've been a big fan of all the members for a long time. When I saw them perform, I asked him if he planned to record the new project, and his answer was pretty ambiguous. Does anybody have any recordings of Masada, or gotten to see any of their shows of late? I think this is one of his best projects to date. J.
