"Close (to the Edit)" is an edited version of "Beat Box (Diversion Two)". The only difference is that Beat Box (Diversion Two) has some extra repetition in the break. It's all part of that early ZTT ethos of remixing and re-releasing the same material in as many formats and versions as possible. I just wanted everyone to know about the Japan release of the new 808 album. I just got it today and I'm a little upset with it. Its really the same as the UK release. It has too bonus tracks of Bonded and Chistler, but it doesn't have PUMP. :( I was really looking foward to PUMP, and there was a rumor that it would be on the JP cd, but it isn't. It has a lyric incert but as usual, some are incorrect. It has the same cover as the UK release. The JP doesn't have the hard plastic cover with the 808 logo on it, it just comes in a clear plastic thin sleeve with a sticky backing. The only thing I could see a little different, is that the JP cd has a gold tint to the cd and the UK is more silver. If your a big 808 collector, pick it up, but its not really worth paying the insane price for something that isn't much different. Surely I'm not alone in this... More depressing has been (before the net came) not to know where to identify a version, or find a record, or where to buy it. Indulge me. Tell me where I can get old ZTT musics from the above groups. Collector/rare record shops, people wanting to sell their old stuff, anything that helps. Mainly for FGTH and Propaganda. And in the air, I drop an idea (needs lotsa disk space...). A music server (e.g. in RealAudio format) for all the fans. I'd be glad to provide my stuff. So, waiting to hear from you Best regards Pedro Lucas PS: There are things that one never stops searching but one never finds.
