I just wanted everyone to know about the Japan release of the new 808 album. I just got it today and I'm a little upset with it. Its really the same as the UK release. It has too bonus tracks of Bonded and Chistler, but it doesn't have PUMP. :( I was really looking foward to PUMP, and there was a rumor that it would be on the JP cd, but it isn't. It has a lyric incert but as usual, some are incorrect. It has the same cover as the UK release. The JP doesn't have the hard plastic cover with the 808 logo on it, it just comes in a clear plastic thin sleeve with a sticky backing. The only thing I could see a little different, is that the JP cd has a gold tint to the cd and the UK is more silver. If your a big 808 collector, pick it up, but its not really worth paying the insane price for something that isn't much different. I just got from UK Esprit records, the so called Propaganda P-Machinery 12" betamix with the "sofa" sleeve. Great, until I heard it !! Inside, it revealed the original polish mix. Damn !!! I Looked in Laslzo Propalist, and gotcha. I own the USA (12ZTAS12 Island 96835) 12" sofa sleeve record, not the UK 12XZTAS12 sofa sleeve record... What a stupid thing to do by the editors, only to confuse collectors... as if we are not confused enough... Anyone knows how to differentiate the three 12" P-Machinery versions (polish, beta, beta wrap-around ) thru listening ? Anyone have them for sale ?
